The X-ADV was Honda's crossover between a maxi-scooter and an adventure bike. It was unveiled at EICMA 2016 and went on sale for 2017. It uses the 745 cc parallel twin and dual-clutch automatic gearbox from the NC750 family, in a steel frame with long-travel suspension, wire-spoked wheels and an upright riding position. Practical touches include a five-position adjustable screen, a lit underseat compartment that holds a helmet, a smart key and a 12 V socket, so it suits commuting during the week and gravel roads at the weekend.
